The React Native App Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining mobile applications for iOS and Android platforms using the React Native framework
This role involves creating high-quality, user-friendly, and performant mobile apps that meet the organization's and users' requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- App Development: Design and develop mobile applications using React Native, ensuring they meet functional and performance requirements
- Cross-Platform Development: Utilize React Native's capabilities for cross-platform development, writing code once for both iOS and Android
- UI/UX Implementation: Implement user interfaces based on design specifications, ensuring an intuitive and responsive user experience
- Third-Party Integrations: Integrate third-party libraries and APIs as needed for various functionalities, such as authentication, payment processing, and geolocation services
- State Management: Implement state management solutions (eg, Redux) to manage app data and ensure data consistency
- Testing and Debugging: Conduct thorough testing and debugging of the app to identify and resolve issues, ensuring app stability
- Performance Optimization: Optimize app performance by identifying and resolving bottlenecks, reducing load times, and improving responsiveness
- Code Reviews: Participate in code reviews and collaborate with other developers to maintain code quality and consistency
- Version Control: Use version control systems (eg, Git) to manage and track changes in the app's source codeApp Deployment: Deploy apps to app stores (eg, Apple App Store and Google Play Store) and manage the release process
- Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation, including app architecture, coding standards, and development procedures
Requirements:
- Min. 2+ years of experience
- React native app development – Android and iOS both
- Deploy on both stores (specifically app store experience is a must)
- Knowledge of all useable React libraries
- Firebase integration experience for notification
- Experience with database design in Realm and MySQL
- Experience using GIT, Trello and Slack
- Fluent in English communication to be able to take client meetings.
